Chemical Formulation
ReAgent was established in 1977 and since that time has worked closely with customers to ensure that their individual chemical formulation requirements are met. We offer a bespoke chemical formulation, service in addition to a chemical deformulation service. An area of growth has been our ability to manufacture to the exact specifications of a customer. Sometimes, a customer is currently manufacturing a product but is looking to out-source.
Another area of growth has been a service whereby a sample of product is sent to ReAgent and then analysed in our laboratories to identify the individual components in the mix. Using this information, our highly skilled chemists can then suggest the optimum method of manufacturing the resulting solution requirements. We pride ourselves in working closely with customers to ensure that there will be as close a chemical formulation match as possible. The chemical formulation side of our business is growing steadily and we recognise that this service is extremely useful to many of our customers.
 We are fully accredited to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System whih forms the cornerstone of our quality processes and helps to ensure full traceability. Additionally, we hold full accreditation to internationally recognised Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004. ReAgent is also proud to be an Investor in People (IIP).
Our highly-trained and efficient workforce operates in line with LEAN manufacturing and we constantly strive to manufacture in the most efficient manner. Our in-house chemical testing techniques include wet chemistry, conductivity, acidity, alkalinity and many years of knowledge and expertise.
We may occasionally sub-contract out some specialist chemical formulation analytical work to approved laboratories in order to ensure that precise formulations can be identified in line with individual customer needs. Once mixtures have been identified, ReAgent is able to give advice on contract packing and labelling in accordance with ADR and CHIP legislation. We are pleased to be working towards the new GHS and CLP regulations.
All products can be dispatched nationwide using suitably qualified and appropriately trained staff. Our delivery performance is constantly monitored and we are pleased to say that we have excellent delivery performance. Goods may be sent by a third party courier with whom we have a long-established relationship and who use only fully trained staff.
We offer a free technical consultancy service both before and after using our chemical formulation and chemical deformulation services and we are always happy to meet customer requirements. We work closely with customers and are regularly audited by our customers many of whom include blue-chip companies and well-known pharmaceutical manufacturers.
We have a wide-ranging customer base which incorporates the food industry, the motor industry, the chemical industry, power stations, the oil industry and health services. We welcome audits and would be happy to show our manufacturing processes to any potential customer. We are aware of customer requirements with regard to confidentiality and security and we are often asked to sign confidentiality agreements in order to protect their intellectual property.
