ReAgent was established in 1977 as a manufacturer of laboratory standards and reagents but it was not long before we quickly expanded into bespoke toll manufacture and toll packaging, supplying bespoke reagents and chemical solutions for our existing customer base.  Our flexibility and willingness to adapt to customers individual requirements has meant that we can offer free technical assistance and advice when looking to out-source the toll blending, toll packaging, labelling and transport of your reagents.  Toll manufacture now represents a large part of our business.

ReAgent can mix and blend a range of chemicals including acids, caustics, solvents, alkilis as well as a large range of laboratory testing reagents.  Our flexible toll manufacturing facility allows us to produce batches ranging from less than one litre up to five thousand litres and everything in between.  We have flame-proof fume extraction for handling hazardous solvents and solvent blends and also have the facility to heat blends of up to two hundred litres to a temperature of 90 degrees C. 

The majority of our mixing tanks are manufactured out of HDPE and as such have excellent chemical resistance and are easily cleaned down between batches.  All of the water used in the manufacturing process is deionised and at the time of production conforms to the EP specification for purified water in containers.

In the field of toll manufacture, we are able to provide bespoke services for all your toll chemical requirements including toll packing, toll repacking, toll filling, toll blending and toll mixing.  As you can see, ReAgent is ideally placed within the toll manufacturing industry.

Once products have been toll manufactured they are then quality tested in our well equipped laboratory by our experienced chemists to ensure that all aspects of customer specifications are strictly adhered to.  We are happy to supply certificates of analysis or conformity for all products manufactured, free of charge.

Our highly trained staff are familiar with LEAN manufacturing techniques and always endeavour to make products in the most efficient manner.  We constantly monitor our production process to ensure that products conform to customers specifications and requirements.

New products can usually be turned around within 5 to 10 days depending on availability of raw materials and packaging.  We are happy to advise on technical matters with regard to the manufacture, packaging and labelling of products in accordance with current legislation.  We pack, label and dispatch in accordance with CHIP and ADR regulations and are pleased to be working towards the new GHS and CLP regulations.

We can toll supply in a wide range of pack sizes and types including glass bottles, plastic jerricans, IBCs and also sachets and glass ampoules.  We are happy to put together kits if required and can help with the sourcing of the various packaging components.
